Scarlett Curtis is an English writer and activist, born in 1995 in London, UK. She began her career as a blogger and columnist for publications like The Guardian, Elle Magazine and the Sunday Times. She's the founder of feminist activist collective 'The Pink Protest', which organised the #FreePeriods campaign to help fight period poverty. Her book, a collection of essays by iconic women titled 'Feminists don't wear pink and other lies' is a Sunday Times bestseller. In 2019, she curated her second book, a collection of 74 essays about mental health, titled 'It's not OK to feel blue and other lies'. Scarlett is also the host of the 'Feminists don't wear pink' podcast.
