Stamping out sexism in the music biz and using your 'voice' for good - with singer/songwriter Maddy Herbert.

December 03, 2019

Moxettes, meet singer, songwriter, endometriosis warrior and champ of change, Maddy Herbert. At just 22, she’s on a mission to stamp out sexism within the music industry in Australia and is already using her career and love of music and the arts as a springboard to help those within her and our broader community. We talk mental health, calling out the BS, and how small gestures, collectively, can make a big impact on the people around us.

Head over to OVER-FLOW on YouTube for a behind-the-scenes glimpse of this this podcast episode, where we talk song requests and what it means to have 'Moxie'!

Maddy's song requests for the 'Girl's Got Moxie' playlist on Spotify are: 'DM Me' by Velvet Bloom and 'Banana Club' by The Mamas
